Main page wording

I think the previous version was better from a grammatical perspective:

We are a non-commercial website that is non-profit and free from advertisement, whose purpose is to further the education and empowerment of Canadian retail investors.

Alternatively, the current version should be broken into 2 sentences. From:

We are a non-commercial website that is non-profit and free from advertisement, our purpose is to further the education and empowerment of Canadian retail investors.

To:

We are a non-commercial website that is non-profit and free from advertisement. Our purpose is to further the education and empowerment of Canadian retail investors.

Display title now showing

Since the upgrade to MediaWiki 1.22, the Main Page header is appearing, previously it was suppressed. Need to investigate why? The coding is {{DISPLAYTITLE:<span style="display:none">{{FULLPAGENAME}}}} --Peculiar Investor 10:44, 8 December 2013 (MST)

Further info, the page source shows <h1 id="firstHeading" class="firstHeading" lang="en"><span dir="auto"><span style="/* attempt to bypass $wgRestrictDisplayTitle */">Main Page</span></span></h1>. Checking the Bogleheads wiki, which still is running MediaWiki 1.21 and uses the same coding on their Main Page shows the page source of <h1 id="firstHeading" class="firstHeading" lang="en"><span dir="auto"><span style="display:none;">Main Page</span></span></h1>. This points to MW:Manual:$wgRestrictDisplayTitle which states that as of MediaWiki 1.22, "Additionally, some inline CSS rules like display: none; which can cause the text to be hidden or unselectable are disallowed." --Peculiar Investor 10:55, 8 December 2013 (MST)
