Talk:Employee benefit
Ideas for possible integration into article:
- If life insurance is offerred by employer, but optional, compare that with a personalized quote from a life agent. The latter product may be a much better deal financially (you're not paying for old, sick, smoking males), and coverage is not employment-dependant. Also you get the insurance amount you need, not some arbitrary multiple of your annual salary.
- In Qc, if health (medication) insurance if offered by employer, you are required by law to take it. Don't know how it works in other provinces.

- Good ideas. I'm long retired from the corporate workforce, but have been helping two young adults begin their journey into the 'real world'. I'm capturing some of the questions/issues that they've encountered, hence the 'Possible article' tag at this time. If other wiki editors can add current experiences, guidelines, etc. that would be most helpful to develop the article. --Peculiar Investor 06:39, 8 January 2016 (MST)
