This User page is for your personal info. Take a look my page User:LadyGeek or User:Peculiar Investor, which is what you see when you click on a member's name.

The editor's name and date stamp are created by clicking on the pencil icon (3rd from the left) in the wiki editor's toolbar. It looks like this prior to previewing the page: --~~~~

Comments on what you have done are entered into the Summary box just beneath the editing area, prior to saving the page.
